We would like to
thank everyone for all the support we received in 2003.
Because of you we were able to save many
dogs and find them wonderful, loving new homes. We couldn't have
done it without dedicated shelter evaluators, transporters, foster homes,
foster partners-in-care, dog intake workers, phone volunteers, home
visitors, adoption counselors, adopters, fundraisers, shelter workers and
all the other volunteers and members that support our work. It truly
is heartwarming!
Take minute to look at the faces of the
dogs we were able to place this year. Click on their pictures for
more info and more pictures of them. Make sure you click back to see the
others!

We were able to evaluate dogs and
collaborate with other rescues to save dogs we weren't able to take in. We
worked with New England vets and shelters to help out numerous dogs
that needed medical help (for instance we helped with a pup with a broken
leg, helped a wonderful boy that had a large growth under his chin
removed, and helped a poor boy that needed his leg amputated, along with
many other dogs). With your help, instead of suffering, these dogs were
able to get help. Here are just a few of the many:

We worked with owners that needed help with
behavior problems in their dogs or just had questions and didn't know
where to turn. Hopefully the advice given helped both dogs and owners to
continue building a wonderful, forever relationship. We also placed
new dogs into working dog homes.

training this past summer.
We could not do this work without you! We
have 9 dogs in foster care now that will hopefully find their forever
homes this coming year. With your continued support, we look forward to
helping even more dogs in 2004!
With wishes that the new year bring you and yours
health and happiness.
