German Shepherd Dogs do NOT do
well in shelter situations,
so we don't keep them that
way!They live in homes. Our
process is that once your
adoption application is
approved and we know what
you're looking for in a dog,
then we will match you with
the right dog(s) for you and
arrange an appointment for
you to visit that German Shepherd Dog in its
foster home.
Please read our
Requirements
and
Adoption
Process
information before you call
about a dog.
NOTE:
We
cannot reserve a dog for
you until your
application to adopt is
approved though we will
work very hard to match
you with a dog that fits
your family once you
are. Approved adopters
who are a good match
with one of our foster
dogs will get first
choice.

|
The dogs listed below
may
already be matched with
approved adopters
that
have been waiting for a
dog that fits their home
and lifestyle.

Thank you for helping
Alfie!
GSRNE's Alfie, an outdoor dog that lived at
the end of a chain, became paralyzed when his neck snapped when he hit
the end of the tie out. Read his story. See updated pictures! |

GSRNE always needs
foster homes!
Without you, we
can't bring dogs
into our rescue.
Please, give us a
call
at
978-443-2202.
Help
us
to help the
dogs.
We especially need
fosters with only
one
other dog and also
fosters without cats!
If not you, who?

Don't forget to check
out the
"In Area Shelters"
page for other dogs that
need your help.
Every week GSRNE gets
calls from shelters
about dogs that need
help so they won't be
put
to sleep. We
evaluate these dogs, and
many of them are good
dogs that we would love
to help...but have no
foster homes open so
have to turn them down.
Please, if you would
like to help, read the
requirements for
fostering and if
you meet them, help save
a life by fostering a
dog in need. |
