Foster Home of the Year 2002

GSRNE is happy to recognize Jack and Liane Himmelsbach as our Foster Home of the Year 2002! 
 
 Jack and Liane have fostered many dogs for GSRNE and have always been  fabulous. They make time and effort for each dog who visits them; work  on the dogs' house manners; follow GSRNE safety protocols; give us accurate reports on their foster dogs; and provide those dogs with a  home where they can feel safe, secure, and loved. And they do a lot of driving because they live in VT!
 
Last year, Jack and Lianne took on the responsibility for fostering  darling Bonnie when she needed a lot of physical help during her surgery recovery time. (See Bonnie's story). This was a supreme effort, filled with love for Bonnie and love for GSDs in general. Jack  and Lianne have never said "no" when we asked them if they could foster another needy GSD.  This kind of dedication to our beloved breed needs special note!
