Photo of Buddy, GSRNE #135 (looking at raccoon on porch)
Max (now Buddy) had been adopted by a family that kept him
for a month, then returned him to the shelter because he wouldn’t stop chasing
their cats. Max was evaluated by Chris and Tomas in Maine and was taken into
GSRNE.
He was adopted by Ruth, a widow in her 80’s, and he has a
large fenced yard overlooking a river. Ruth puts food out on her deck for the
raccoons and said “Buddy is fascinated by them. The mother raccoon brought her
babies this summer. Buddy is always indoors, looking out, when the raccoons are
there.”

Epie and foster dog Dargo
This is a photo of our dog Epie and one of our fosters,
Dargo. They heard Liane’s car pull into the driveway and they were waiting for
her to come up the outside stairs. They both are standing on the floor with
their front feet on a chair. Liane is in the background standing outside. I
would like to enter this in the most creative category.
Honorable Mention, Most Creative
- Lisa and Bob F.

Photo of Olivia, GSRNE #84
Olivia’s favorite game to play in the fall is to jump in
the pile of leaves to find her toy!
