Lady and Misty
This is part of my family (Lady and Misty); not in the
photo is my other cat, Splash. Lady is a wonderful family member – she’s a very
sweet and loving dog; we’re always together – she’s my best friend. She is
great with the cats; she lets them snuggle up to her, and she gives them “love
bites” on their neck and back, which they love. In this photo, Misty went over
to hang out with Lady and Lady ended up resting her head on her!
Second Place, Most Creative - Jacky M.

Vektor (GSRNE
#52) and Morgan colt
Vektor is a five year old GSD who was adopted at 5 months
from GSRNE. He’s had agility training and is an athletic, cooperative dog who
is most happy with his farm companions. Pictured is the farm’s newest arrival,
a Morgan colt. Although at first jealous of the attention paid to the baby,
Vektor is now a gentle friend.

Fina (GSRNE #111 and Daddy)
This shot is from Fina’s first Thanksgiving with us. We
think this single picture is indeed worth a thousand words in demonstrating how
well Fina completed our family. Here she is helping “Daddy” prepare the turkey
for dinner. However, we did ignore her suggestion that it was fine as is and
cooking would just be a big waste of time! Fina just celebrated her 4th
birthday and 2 years with us at the end of July. She is smart as a whip and
keeps us on our toes every minute with her energy and intelligence.
