We Need You! Here’s our Pledge
Sheet!
Please ask your family, friends
and co-workers to sponsor you! Your pledges will make this walk a success.
Because we are
a fully volunteer, 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we rely on
the generosity of GSD-lovers to fund our programs.
All proceeds go directly to the
care of our German Shepherd Dogs in foster care, who were abandoned or left in
shelters to
await an uncertain fate. They are given a thorough exam, receive
necessary medical treatment and are neutered or spayed, immunized, and parasite
– and heartworm tested.

Wag Pledge Form*~*~*
Help Us Spread the Word! Here’s Our
Flyer!
Let’s invite everyone we can to
our Walk ‘n’ Wag Fundraiser. The flyer you hang may result in our finding a
foster home to allow us to take in the next German Shepherd in need, or
stimulate some generous donations to help with the next set of surgical bills to
save or improve a GSD's life.
If we all download and copy the
Walk 'n' Wag flyer from the website, print up a few dozen, take them everywhere
we go, and distribute them wherever we can, then we may reach thousands more
people in the days before the Walk. For example, hand the flyers on bulletin
boards at supermarkets, vet offices, pet stores, groomers, libraries, community
centers, work places, Laundromats, etc. Use your imagination!
Let's start plastering those
flyers across all of CT. RI. VT, NH, ME, and MA!

Music
|
|
Thunderpants Johnson’s Hillbilly Orchestra
The
2007 GSRNE Walk ‘n’ Wag has music!!! Get those doggies rockin’!

Formed in the
summer of 2002, Thunderpants Johnson's Hillbilly Orchestra is a unique
liberation of a lost style of music. TPJHO fuses ragtime, blues, folk, country,
bluegrass and rock & roll to produce the traditional jug band sound with a
knee-slapping twist to produce a truly original experience.
Thunderpants
Johnson's Hillbilly Orchestra is a family. Most of the members have been close
friends for over a decade with musical résumés ranging from beginners to 15 year
veterans.
Thunderpants Johnson's Hillbilly Orchestra shows turn a banjo, mandolin, 2
acoustic guitars, harmonica, washboard, washtub and of course an old moonshine
jug into a magical burst of beer swigging, foot stomping hell of a good time

Each year our exhibitors are wonderful vendors
where we can shop, and fellow rescues that share our passion for rescuing

GSRNE is a fully volunteer,
charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to providing veterinary care,
evaluation, and adoptive homes for the countless numbers of German Shepherd Dogs
who are abandoned or left in shelters to await uncertain fate. We provide foster
services for all dogs coming into our rescue. They are given a thorough exam,
receive necessary medical treatment and are neutered or spayed, immunized, and
parasite – and heartworm tested. All money raised will go for the care of the
GSDs in GSRNE’s foster care program. Because we are a fully volunteer,
501(c)(3) charitable organization, we rely on the generosity of GSD-lovers to
fund our programs.
