How To Volunteer

We Need YOU!

The GSRNE Walk 'n' Wag is planned, managed and executed entirely by volunteers. We need your help in equipment and person power!

Volunteer on the DAY of the Walk!

We still need volunteers to help us run our Walk 'n' Wag on the day of the walk. The following tasks still need volunteers assigned to them:

  •   Parking lot duty
  •   Initial Set-Up
  •   Putting up signs
  •   Photographers
  •   Packing Up at the end of the day

The more people we have helping us, the less any one of us has to do! If you have already signed up to help, go to the sign up Volunteer list below and check out your assignment.

If you would like to get an assignment, please email walknwag@gsrne.org and we'll be happy to have your help!

Volunteer to Help Us Now!

The GSRNE Walk 'n' Wag takes months of planning and many volunteers to prepare us for our special day. We still have a assignments that need some people power. If you want to lend a hand, email us!     walknwag@gsrne.org

Volunteer to Post Flyers and Posters!

We need volunteers to hang the flyers and posters on bulletin boards at supermarkets, vet offices, pet stores, groomers, libraries, community centers, work places, laundromats, etc. Use your imagination!

Local colleges and universities are also a great resource! Students are also typically pretty excited about anything to do with animal welfare events and are a great resource for flyer & poster distribution as well.

Let's start plastering posters across all of CT, RI, VT, NH, ME, and MA!
Click on the posters link to the left to download and print them.

Let Us Know What YOU Want to Do!

If you would like to volunteer to help, send an email to:   walknwag@gsrne.org

and type "Volunteer" in the subject line. Include the following information in the email:

  •    Your name

  •    Where you would like to volunteer or

  •    What equipment can you bring
