Bella is a 1- year old White GSD
female who had been living with a free-roaming group of dogs
before being captured and taken to a shelter. She was wary of
new people, nervous and shy and not house-trained.
In foster care, she lives with a
male GSD who had been adopted from GSRNE. Having him around has
helped Bella to bond with her foster parents more quickly than
expected. She was, initially, afraid of men, including the two
in her foster family. She has become much more comfortable with
them, and her foster Dad recently woke from a nap to find Bella
sitting on the edge of the bed, head tilted, waiting for him to
wake up so she could give him a kiss.
She is showing her happy, playful
side more and more now, has learned about house training and
greets her family members enthusiastically when they come in
from work or errands. She loves romping in the yard with Serius
and now knows how much fun toys are to play with. Bella has
also learned that the cat in the family is not one of her
squeaky toys, and they are also getting along nicely now.
She is ready to move on to her
forever home, so please contact us for more information about
Bella.
