Lucie is a one year old bicolor GSD who
was an unclaimed, malnourished stray taken from a shelter
by a caring rescuer. Under her care, Lucie became a very
happy energetic puppy who has blossomed into a beautiful
energetic teen-ager. She lived with 3 older dogs and loved
to play with them. The cat in her home was a chase
challenge for her, but once she got to it, the cat would
hold still and Lucie would become bored with it and walk
away.
Lucie loves the off-leash dog park, and does well with
strange dogs in this type of setting. She is an avid
hiker, especially in the winter, and loves to hang on the
seashore. When children are around, she will play with
them but will leave them alone if they don’t want to play
with her, especially if there are more exciting things to
do, like chasing the squirrels.
Lucie’s absolute all time favorite thing to do is to play
with her red kong ball. She will play for hours on end at
the park, and nothing holds her attention as much as the
thrill of catching this ball or playing hide and seek with
this ball. It doesn’t matter what other fun things are
going on around her, the ball takes precedence over
everything else. However, at the end of a long day, Lucie
loves nothing more than to snuggle up close to you and
relax. |
